We rely on voluntary donations to fund our research in Ireland. To date, we have invested more than €30 million in Cancer Research. This has led to improvements in the diagnosis and treatment of many cancers. However, there is still so much to be discovered, so it is crucial that we continue to support high quality cancer research here in Ireland.

Cancer research can span from the laboratory, to clinical research, to clinical trials, to physical activity research for survivors. We fund all kinds of research. See the list of publications funded by Irish Cancer Society research grants.

We fund research scholarships, fellowships, projects and programmes. Read all about what we're funding.
